Thanks to Thailand's highly-developed, sub-"Carry On" sense of humour; the poor old aubergine ends up as all sorts of crap "limp-dick" joke punchlines. Usually uttered as the rimshot, titter du jour comment of a fat katoey; falling headlong over a banana skin. Whatever.
