As I am a "half breed" Thai as you discribe it - well - you either don't know much about the english language or you need someone to point this out to you.

Mostly me and the "half breed" friends I have would not use this phrase. Breed is a word used with animals primarily - you don't say for instance my wife and I are trying to breed a child. I just bred some twins etc etc. Better instead to use the word "mixed race" in english or "Eurasian" (in the case of white/Thai etc). In Thai there is no major negative connation with the phrase "look krueng" but that doesn't mean you can translate it directly across into English and suddenly it is necessarily therefore polite - after all when you go to a Thai restaurant you can try asking is there a table free in Thai, and it won't make any sense - same same mate.

In general, the best looking kids come from the reverse sitauation - a Thai father and white mother. Depending on the white father, in general the white father THai mother does ok but usually if female ends up with a weight problem - most of the look krueng models and actresses tend to be shorter and/or fatter than the full Thai equivalents. Having seen some of the mothers (and fathers) they for the most part are not exactly a match of good looking + good looking = great looking. INstead it is often the vertiable silk purse from a sows ear.
